Hillary Clinton KILLED it last night - bravo!

Wow, what a speech! She just delivered 100% of her voters to Barack Obama. She was FANTASTIC. On the one hand, I am still bummed out she wasn't the VP pick, but on the other hand, she made it abundantly clear that she supports Obama. I am sure/hopeful we'll see her somewhere in the Obama Cabinet.

That cracking sound you heard last night at around 11:00 PM EDT was the sound of Republican hearts breaking. The smart ones know it's probably over.

nod wouldn't surprise me if a lot of the talking points about a rift in the democratic party didn't originate with them. Hillary gave them the finger - good for her.

Like a columnist wrote in today's Daily News, this is all about 2012. If Obama loses, and the party feels she's a saboteur, it could come back to haunt her four years from now. Clinton's too savvy(and calculating) to make that mistake.

She bored the living daylights outta me. It's one thing to say someone is not ready and another to come back and say he is. And I didn't dig how she was still pushing her own agenda. Was her points on healthcare how they got her to cooperate?

I got that same impression. That she is preparing herself for 2012.

I know the Clintons deserve much of the cynicism they inspire, but c'mon. That speech last night was beyond amazing. It was the best speech of her career, and the best speech of the convention so far. It wasn't "all about 2012." It was a resounding rallying cry for this election, this year.

Her speech is in 3 parts on youtube. I listened to the first part, it was all about her. Which part does she get to the real issues????

The whole thing ties together. She's not just talking about herself for self-aggrandizement; she's communicating directly to her supporters about issues that they supported her for and fully illustrating the need for Democratic unity now. The entire speech was brilliant.

If Hillary thinks she's setting herself up for 2012, she may have a longer wait because Barack is going to be President until 2016!

I thought Hillary's best line last night was about John McCain: "We don't need 4 more years of the last 8 years!"

Though I know the whole healthcare thing is her platform and I couldn't blame her if she did use it as a negotiation ticket, besides Obama from the beginning had a healthcare platform too. But, I also think it undercut the whole abortion issue at the same time, at least in my mind it made that connection of bringing children into the world yet not making a way to care for their basic needs one of which is healthcare. It was like a reminder to focus on real everyday issues we all face and not get sidetracked on talking points. Like caring more for the unseen than the seen kind of thing. To me it was a smart move, saying it without actually saying it.

I agree with you Rodeo nod Thought her speech was just fantastic clapping If that was the Hillary that campaigned, she would have been the nominee nod I find it very interesting that she spent her entire campaign calculating and now she's being herself and Obama campaigned being himself and is now calculating his votes and approach and all that.

A huge part of me is genuinely sad she isn't the VP. I started out supporting Hillary and it was because of her campaign that I switched my support and voted Obama in the primaries. It was her campaign that undid her. She is so much better than the campaign she ran. Of course people are going to dismiss her speech and feel this is calculated and scheming but honestly I feel this is really one time she wasn't and I respect her incredibly for it nod

Still some of her supporters are making excuses. Seriously, if Obama loses because of their bitter childishness, it will not be forgotten. Sabotage Obama's chances and Hillary never has a chance in any future primary.

These "supporters" are not in the future to be blamed on Hillary, bitch brought it last night. If Barry can't or doesn't win it in November its his own damn fault and not hers.

If after this election people go back to blaming Hillary, that's pure out illogical hatred of her or her gender.

Let me qualify that. If her supporters do not support Obama en masse, then yes they are to blame. Sounds to me like the majority have some sense in their heads but there are still a bunch of cunts out there complaining and that term applies to both men and women!

Her supporters have been horrible during the primaries. Lying and trying to steal the nomination. I heard some lady yesterday saying she had gripes about the process and that the rules weren't followed and that she just wanted the rules to be obeyed and the interviewer asked her what about Florida and Michigan and she didn't want to discuss it. Hillary agreed not to count those two states and then tried to game the system by going back on her word. Hillary lost out on this because of HILLARY and the sooner her supporters open their eyes, the better.

Nope, Hillary like all the other candidates agreed to NOT campaign in those states, Mi and Fl were always going to be in play. Hillary was just being a smart politician, Barry shouldn't have pulled his name out of Mi. That was his own inexperience. Hillary didn't try to run the table, she was just smart enough to court those delegates cause she knew the DNC was going to have to deal with them sooner or later.

She lost the primary but she didn't cheat or try to steal to win it. That doesn't matter to some, they just want to see what they want.

The states were stripped of their delegates by DNC rule that the primaries not be moved up. Explain to me how that makes the delegates in play. This is her and her supporters making shit up and gaming the system. She may have hoped that they would be in play but the rules stripped those delegates PERIOD. Let's deal with reality and the facts. And yes that shit is the past but it can't be ignored since her supporters are still trying to pull this bullshit even now.

Were the Delegates given back the vote? Yes, it was all just DNC trying to be a player. Hillary saw that and took advantage of it, once again smart politician.

Thank God I wasn't so blind to call her on her bullshit. I supported her and she ran a shitty campaign. She lost it because of her. Face it. Glad she couldn't steal the nomination. She, nor her supporters, deserve to play GOP style games in order to win. Thankfully it didn't happen.
