Did Missouri join civilized society?

I haven't heard any results on the Missouri race yet. Did they go blue or are they still stuck in the 4th century? lol

At last count, McCain was up by right around 7,000 votes.

Most Missourians in the larger cities like Springfield, Jefferson City, Kansas City, St. Louis, and Cape Girardeau are open-minded. It's everything outside of the cities that vote for the ultra-conservative candidates. I mean, you have a few lefties in the rural areas and some righties in the cities, but for the most part, this state follows the same trend as the rest of the midwest- college towns and cities vote Democrat, and rural areas and very rich suburbs vote Republican.

Are you tired of Democrats and Republicans? Try Libertarianism!

Yes, I've heard Missouri can be the bellwether. But I've also heard the same phrase spoken about Ohio and Iowa also.

I believe that this would be only the second time in history that Missouri voted differently from the national result.

Why is it hilarious ? hmm

Missouri is still up for grabs. There are still 7,000 uncounted ballots in Obama leaning areas. According to the most recent reports, Obama still trails McCain by 4716. Obama won big in St. Louis and Kansas City, but the rest of the state (largely rural) will never go blue.

It is what it is.

Is it realness or not, let it be motherfucking hot...

Missouri had the longest track record of voting for the canadite that would win. 40+ years. if it goes for McCain it breaks that streak.

i believe most of my family voted for Obama, i think my more ultra conservative family in Marshall and St Louis voted for McCain.

The local papers are talking as if Obama has a real shot at winning the state. I knew St. Louis would come thru when I was at the rally. It was an unbelievable sight, just the sheer number of people who showed up and the diversity of that group.

So let me get this straight, if your grandad had won you would be crawling all over HIM for the failure of the economy now?

OK, let me get this straight. In the last 32 years you had:

  • Carter 76 to 80 - According to most on the Right the worst president in US History.

  • Reagan 81 to 88 - Your beloved revolution begun.

  • Bush Sr 89 to 92 - The Revolution continues….

  • Clinton 93 to 2000 - Had a Republican Congress for 6 of those 8 years.

  • Bush Sr 2001 to present day - Capitalized on the Regan Revolution by giving huge tax breaks to the wealthiest in the country and had a Republican congress for 6 years which meant that the Republican party ruled unchallenged and most of their wet dreams came true, including special sessions of Congress for photo ops over Terry Shiavo. One woman they had the time and energy to devote sessions to. Interestingly enough, they didn't ban abortion…. hmmm

So you had 12 years of Democratic presidency, half of that challenged by a Republican congress vs 20 years with Republican presidents. So you mean to tell me that your party was powerless to address whatever these Democratic laws were that supposedly led to the financial crisis? Is your party full of such idiots that nobody could see the problems these Democratic laws would cause? If so, why should they ever be trusted with the economy again?

You're so attached to your political lies you think it's your penis lol
