My Youtube Guitar Channel

That's my channel on youtube, showcasing some of the stuff I can do. There are only 2 on there, guitar and purple rain in each of them, didn't think I should publicise it too much otherwise anything prince has the sound removed. I'll be adding more videos in the coming weeks, be really grateful for any tips or advice anyone has for me, so check it out smile

Thanks for sharing...I'm not good at critquing music, but one
thing I do know is that I love to listen.

There are a few guys & gals in here that could easily give you tips
and advice...now if we could just get them to swing by and listen. lol

It doesn't matter
what did or did not happen then.

Fragmentor	thedude, thanks for the link, some pretty decent stuff there. I've been learning scales and chords for like 5 years, only really woke up to learning tabs about a year ago lol, I'd like to think I'm improving all the time, when I get some time I'll upload some more of my Prince and Santana stuff, thanks for the feedback

It takes some balls to just post this so I'll give you that.

Nice work on the intro and exit solos in Black Magic Woman but the verse (Part that the vocals are singing along with) is mostly minor chords and you're playing ninths.

Fragmentor	Thatnks for the feedback. To be honest I haven't spent a lot of time learning the inbetween bits, gonna get that together next. Was in two minds as to whether to play that bit or the guitar transcription of the vocals. But thanks a lot for the response, greatly appreciated

abigail05	hey, you're really good, especially for 5 years. I really thought you sounded quite close to Santana through most of that song. Nice work!

Not too bad man. My constructive criticism is to work on your vibrato man. You gotta use some feeling, don't just let notes sit there and lay around, shake 'em around.
