what I have on there is just a drop in the bucket - I've written for almost 14 years, and have about a hundred times worth what I have on the site.

Hopefully those fire #'s will go down before August. We had huge fires here in Southern CA,2003 & 2006. I can imagine the haze. | |

I lived in SoCal in 2003, and was driving down from LA when I saw it start to go down - I had never seen quite as ominous a sky, and had never seen a sun so orange. the rest is history. And I found out right after I posted my last response that it was not 1,400 lightning fires, but 2,000! Ugh! But it's apparently down to around 20.

Now that the fire season is about over, I have a much deeper appreciation of the blue skies that I see these days.
