I love this song and The Max - well I love a lot of his stuff but since you mention it it reminded me of the Max - always listen to those 2 together

I like this song but the thing that always stood out to me about Emancipation in general are the bass lines. The album has a very slick radio friendly feel to it but still has some nice bass lines in it.

Tame said: Sometimes I wish that there were more flowers on the emoticon list..just for the sake of appreciation threads...There are some of us that could write an essay on a Prince song...Simple words such as; beautiful, or love, just don't cut it...because Prince is the author of what the song is about, not how it has moved us in some way. We don't feel like writing a long drawn out explanation of how the song made us feel on the day the song came out and compare it to all of the times we listened to the song on rainy days, or days that we sat in the dmv all afternoon, just trying to get a better picture on our driver's license...the lights in there aren't very good, but what do you expect, they aren't professional photographers...anyway, sumtimes, a flower shows the readers of the threads, that we appreciate the song but we don't wanna go really far out of our way to explain. ![]() Tame have u ever tried 2 enter some of ur poetry n2 contest's. U need 2 check n2 it. I have an email saved 4 poetry entries if u interested. Org me let me kno.

I do like this song its a perfect example of Prince reflects his feelings in his music. Listen to the keyboard/synth riff that you hear throughout it. I don't know about you, but it gets to me. Tugs at your heartstrings. Without really having to say a word, his music speaks for itself. The lyrics are pretty decent, easy to remember, but I love the rhythm that he sings them in. Take that back, the lyrics are better than decent. Because good lyrics are easy to remember

This is a great song. This should have been a single cause it would have been a hit. It's one of my favorites on Disc 1 of Emancipation. It's time for new direction, it's time for jazz 2 die
